Goran was the first male Fomori. Originally conceived as the second child of Embal and Callidora, when his mother discovered she was pregnant she fled into the sea, where she was transformed into a Fomori. Goran was born at sea, but he eventually returned to land as an adult in order to find a mate.
On land, he encountered his father, who tried to convince him to stay. Goran selected a bride and lived with her for some time, but he began to long for the ocean and eventually abandoned his family. His children were likewise compelled to return to the sea at some point in their long lives.
