Reginald Stirling was the fourth king of Apicarta. Intensely disliked, little is known of his life and while he may have had bastard children, no legitimate issue of his is known.
Upon his father Letholdus II's death, he became king, his older brother Erasmus II having been killed in battle. Erasmus II's wife Elisabeta fled out of fear she or her infant son Cassius II would be killed or imprisoned by Reginald, who had made threats toward her and her family.
It soon became apparent, however, that Reginald himself was a poor leader. The few policies he bothered to create were despised, and he was assassinated twelve years into his reign.
He had no legitimate children, and therefore no heirs. Upon his death, Cassius II returned from hiding and assumed the throne.
