Sebastian Stirling was a prince of Apicarta. He was the youngest child of Princess Enid Stirling and Lord Lucien Florescu, being preceded by his brother Tristan and sister Lucia. He married Lady Rose Carnell. While the couple had many children, only one made it to adulthood, their daughter Frances.
During the War of Succession, after Prince Claudius went into hiding, Sebastian managed to place Frances on the throne, declaring her queen. But Aldous Stirling found Claudius, killed him, then returned to the capital and had both Frances and her husband thrown into the castle dungeons. Sebastian mounted an army, intended to break them free of prison, but the attack failed and Sebastian was himself captured. He was sentenced to death for treason, along with his daughter and son-in-law.
