Kurt Albot is an Alucar male. He once worked as a carpenter's assistant. Orphaned at a young age, he and his sisters Mara and Susanna were raised by their aunt and uncle on a farm near Bodai. He grew up with his cousins Rowan and Rathina.
As a child he was close to Rowan, who looked up to him, but over time they drifted apart due to their large age difference. Rowan was further alienated by Kurt's radical political views.
While his sisters left home to pursue their careers, Kurt is currently still living with his aunt. An attempt at apprenticeship to a carpenter ended disastrously due to Kurt's drinking. His aunt banned alcohol in her house, but he still hangs around troublemakers and ne'er-do-wells.
