The Empress is the purported supreme leader of the New Exekian Empire, an imperial state located in the southern portion of the continent.
Little is known of the Empress herself, and she rarely appears in public. Her name, parentage, place of origin, and background have been kept secret from all but her closest advisers. Rumors have circulated for decades that she was a princess from as far back as the Old Kingdom, that she was disgraced by a love affair with a human slave, and even that she does not actually exist, but rather is a fictional figurehead portrayed by an actress.
